REVIEW ~Rocky Mountain Romance by Vivian Arend~

Title: Rocky Mountain Romance
Author: Vivian Arend
Series: Six Pack Ranch #7
Release Date: October, 21, 2014

My Rating: 4.5 Stars!
Second chances are the sweetest—and the hottest.
It took a spectacularly embarrassing break-up to knock Steve Moonshine Coleman off his lazy butt. In the ten months since that night, he’s changed his ways, and now that Melody’s back in town, it’s time for this sweet-talking cowboy to convince her to get back in the saddle with him.

A return to her veterinary position in Rocky Mountain House was always in the cards for Melody Langley. Getting back together with Steve? Never part of the plan. He had lots of potential but zero ambition, and there’s no way she’ll accept anything less than a man who can keep up with her, in and out of bed.

But the new-and-improved cowboy is impossible to resist, so Melody issues a challenge. Three months to prove he’s reformed. Three months of Steve orchestrating one sexual indulgence after another—wicked distractions from the old boys’ club Melody faces at work and Steve’s growing responsibilities.

He’s got one shot to prove with more than words what’s in his heart and soul.

Warning: Fifty percent less angst, twice as much filthy-talking, dirty-daring cowboy. Get ready for a whole lot of make-your-knees-weak wooing from a man intent on proving he’s got what it takes, and the woman ready to push him way past his limits.

It's been a while since I traveled to Six Pack Ranch, but now that I've devoured Rocky Mountain Romance I'm beating myself upside the head for not coming back sooner. This is a super sexy, and sweet book. Steve had me wondering where in good tarnations all the men who are like him are. And Melody, well she did second chances right. Keeping her guard up until the absolute perfect time to let Steve back in. I gobbled up this story. Between the heartfelt moments of Steve and Melody rekindling their romance, their inability to keep their hands of one another, and the perfect weaving of family within the pages, I couldn't get enough of this world.

I'm a huge sucker for a cowboy book. Rocky Mountain Romance has them... in spades. Vivian Arend has a gift for focusing on the main couple, while dropping intriguing hints about the stories to come. It wasn't obvious that she was paving the way for future Coleman stories, it just flowed with the story effortlessly. However, you can bet that I'm dying to know what happens with a few of my new favorite Coleman boys. Back to Steve and Melody's story though - their story is one of tremendous growth. The feelings that were evoked when the met up again struck a chord deeper than when they used to be together. And while Melody would love to keep him at arm's length, Steve has changed his way and is hell bent on showing Melody the man he is now. He doesn't half ass anything. This man brings out the sexiest coercion tactics I've ever seen. Soon enough Melody is at his mercy. He doesn't just want in her bed though. He wants in her heart and he'll do anything to prove it.

I want more Steve and Melody. I want their before story, their after story. Anything else I can get my hands on. They're a couple of little fuss, and pure cohesiveness. If you're looking for a seductive and playful book this is it. It's got that playful aspect, yet it as depth in its characters and storyline that is hard to come by. This is truly a feel good book, with a side of sexy that you will most definitely enjoy!

Happy Reading!
