Sigh... This book just hit every spot right for me. Maxie and Lucas' story is just a heartbreaking ball of goodness, rawness, and deliciousness. These Billionaire Bad Boys fall, and fall hard. Lucas is that guy who just makes you swoon. He's strong, he's got a good heart, and the length to which he will protect, support and love Maxie is untouchable. these two find their strength within one another during their story.
For Maxie, she needs to be her own person, and rarely is an extremely sex alpha man written that allows the heroin to do that without learning the hard way. Lucas on the other hand supported her, loved her, and truly gave every part of himself to her, and her to him. Going Down Fast has that thing about it. Just the right amount of depth, then breathtaking amount of pleasure and passion, and a dose of reality that allowed me to lose myself whole-heartedly in their world.
I couldn't get enough of this story, and these characters. I am waiting not so patiently for Going Down Hard and Going Down Deep. This series is fast becoming a favorite of mine, and I can't wait for more from these devilishly sexy men and the women who fight for their hearts!
