REVIEW ~TORRID LITTLE AFFAIR BY KENDALL RYAN~

Title: Torrid Little Affair
Author: Kendall Ryan
Series: Forbidden Desires #3
Release Date: December 11, 2017
The best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. And I have the perfect candidate all picked out.

My new assistant is tempting beyond belief with her curvy body and take-no-shit attitude. All those luscious curves, and a juicy ass I’m already in love with. God, the things that I would do to that ass…

But it’s the haunted look in her eyes that speaks to me. Like she’s taken just as much shit in her past as I have—maybe more. We both deserve a little fun.

Love can’t fix everything. Mind-blowing sex and a few killer orgasms, on the other hand?

I have a feeling those might do the trick.
Okay, so here's my deal with this book. I 95% LOVED it. Corinne and Cooper hands down make a fantastic and oh-so-steamy couple. They're a match made in temperament and sexual heaven. And what I loved most was how Ms. Ryan dealt with the fallout of where we left Cooper in the previous book. I needed his feelings to be reconciled for him to move forward with Corinne, as more than just a body to warm his bed, and if you thought you saw this man fall before, his tumbles at full speed in TORRID LITTLE AFFAIR. As for Corinne, I loved her character. I loved who she was with Cooper, and how she dealt with her past. The only thing that kept me from 100% loving this book, was the circumstance of Corinne's past, how everything fell on her shoulders, and how it all played out with Cooper in the end. Them together, I loved. Their ending, I loved. And I won't spoil it, because that's just not fair, but you'll know it when you read it. I just thought it was asking too much of everyone involved with how it ended up. However, given where it went, I think the characters responded absolutely how they should have, anything else would have made me think less of them, but for some reason the obstacle they faced almost lessened the happily ever after a bit. I'm not sure why, I wish I did. But up until that last part of the book this was a solid 5 star read for me, and the last bit just made it slightly below that. I would definitely recommend this book though. Those trials and tribulations I mentioned do lay the basis of a very unique and well-written book and the groundwork of Cooper and Corinne had me feeling all the feels for them!
